Geek Girls

I totally dig the girl geek/gamer girl movement. Just saying.

  1. So, I don't know exactly what you mean about a movement. That's just how we roll. We're not doing it because it's cool. We're doing because purses and makeup are boring things to dedicate your life to.

Also, who doesn't love comic books? I mean fo srs.

  2. Well, you can have a movement without doing it to be cool, right? Like, the movement to get the right to vote wasn't to be cool, it was because ladies needed their rights! I think "Girl Geek" is awesome because it's girls saying they can be smart and into that kind of stuff too.

I know people who REFUSE to read comics. For serious. Because comics are for "children" because they have pictures. Some people suck, hard.

  3. For serious? That's retarded! Honestly, there's some stuff out there that really isn't even kid friendly, let alone made for kids. When I got the first comic book tattoo, I think I crossed the line on being able to say anything about that though.

And honestly, my geek cock is bigger than pretty much every guy that I know. It's not *about* competition, but if it were one, I would win.

  4. For a long time, erroneously, I think fandom was really just thought of as something "guys" did. Cosplay and art and all sorts of stuff have made it clear that it's not just for guys. I know a couple of girls who do costuming and propmaking and all that nifty crud.

DUDE, what tats do you have? That's totally wicked. (I call everyone dude. XD)

  5. Dude, it's fine- so do I.

And it's a panel from Alan Moore's highly revered graphic novel Watchmen that was recently translated into an absolutely horrible movie.

  6. Dude, all I remember of that movie is "GIANT BLUE WANG". I couldn't get past it. XD

  7. And that's reason number one why it was a shitty movie. Ask anyone what they remember about it and BAM. Blue wang.

I promise you should pick up a trade copy of the novel. It's absolutely amazing.

  9. I'm trying to get into comics, but I don't know what's good. I love horror manga/comics. I love the old "Uncle Creepy" and "Vampirella" ones.
My thing is online gaming...I love PVP, it gets out all the frustrations from the day. Sure some folks drink...I shoot lava bursts ;)
